Thursday 17th, 2010
Tonight I am taken aback by the sound of a small contingent of Spanish folk singing along to “Sadness & Whiskey”, “Pashabulker” and “Don’t You Think It’s Time?. I am amazed that they know the words, particularly as English is very much a second language.

KURBAN BLOG – PART 2 AND THE REST
Thursday 7th, 2010
Ha! I bet you didn’t think part two would ever materialise now did you? Well, truth be told, neither did I. Still, despite the tour ending some time ago and my already wishy washy memory likely to fail me, I shall nonetheless attempt to relay to you all, my loyal friends, some of the highlights that occurred during the second half of the tour with Keef Urban.

KURBAN TOUR BLOG - PART ONE
Tuesday 15th, 2009
Just before it is time to go on stage Keith and his band come in to our dressing room to say hello. He gifts me a bottle of my favourite wine accompanied with a card with a sweet message saying how happy he is to have me on tour and if I need anything to click my heels and it will materialise. I think I might be falling in love.

...we did have a cool gig in this little cinema and I also got to meet Van Dyke Parks when we were both guests on a panel discussing song writing. What an amazing man! He is probably most famous as the guy that composed the strings on the Beach Boys seminal Pet Sounds album, one of the greatest albums of all time and an absolute favourite of mine...

ESKIES TOUR – WEEK THREE
Wednesday 19th, 2009
This week we headed West, starting with a show at the Thebarton Theatre in Radelaide. I remember playing the Thebarton once before, a long long time ago. I believe it may have been in 1996 or possibly 1997 supporting a band called The Presidents of The USA.

TOURIN’ WEEK 3!
Monday 25th, 2009
...first gig of the week was at the Barwon Club in Geelong. This venue has been around forever and everyone has played it before.....except me! I don’t know how I’ve managed to dodge it over the last 13 years but somehow I’ve never played a gig here until now. I know that doesn’t sound that exciting but to me it is rather a thrill.

Tourin’. Week 2.
Tuesday 19th, 2009
Wollongong on Thursday night was plenty of fun although after the show I felt myself begin to get sick. After the show we drove to Sydney and I think I was in bed by 2am. By 6am I was up again and really feeling average. What was I going to do? I couldn’t meet Mel and Kochie and sneeze green snot all over them could I? Not on live, breakfast television.
